Ministry Of Education Community Partnerships Team invites you to a Webinar, Supporting Neurodiverse Learners in Schools.
This session will introduce key roles and services that work to ensure neurodiverse students receive the support they need to thrive.
The panel of experts includes:
- Huda Parvez, Deputy Principal/SENCO, Te Matauranga School
- Olivia Tinkler, Resource Teacher Learning & Behaviour (RTLB), Tuawhitu o Akarana RTLB Cluster
- Tanya Engineer, Educational Psychologist, Ministry of Education
- Huma Younis, Community Support Coordinator, CCS Disability Action
Together, they will discuss:
- The role of a SENCO in schools
- How RTLBs work with teachers and families
- The ways Educational Psychologists support children’s learning and development
- Support and services available to families through CCS Disability Action
