I am an Accredited Justice of the Peace based in Manawatū, providing trusted, impartial support to individuals and families within the community. As a member of the Justice of the Peace Association New Zealand, I am committed to upholding high standards of integrity, confidentiality, and public service in all JP duties, including document witnessing, statutory declarations, and other authorised services.
Alongside my JP role, I bring extensive experience working with diverse communities, particularly former refugees and migrant populations. I am a professional Nepali-language interpreter with over 14 years of experience, currently working with Interpreting New Zealand in Wellington. My background spans legal, health, social service, and community settings, supporting individuals to access essential services with clarity and confidence.
My work is grounded in strong cultural competence, deep community knowledge, and a long-standing commitment to equity, access, and inclusion. This combination of professional expertise and lived experience allows me to provide JP services that are both formally rigorous and culturally responsive, supporting people from a wide range of backgrounds in a respectful and accessible manner.
