Introduction

These Terms & Conditions apply to all driving lessons and VR training provided by HOW² Te Ako Charitable Trust. By booking or participating in any HOW² Drive service offered by HOW² Te Ako Charitable Trust, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, the Payments & Refunds Policy, and the Privacy Policy published on this website.

Eligibility

To participate in HOW² Te Ako Charitable Trust services, learners must:

Safety Requirements

A lesson may be cancelled or stopped immediately if a learner:

If the learner is responsible for the safety issue, the session may be charged in full.

Lesson Duration

Lessons begin and end at the scheduled time. Late arrival may reduce lesson duration without fee reduction.

Vehicle Use

Lessons may be conducted in an HOW² Te Ako Charitable Trust training vehicle or a learner's own vehicle, subject to safety approval. The instructor has final discretion on vehicle suitability.

VR Training

Learners must follow all VR safety instructions provided by staff. Sessions may be paused or stopped if a learner experiences discomfort or fails to follow guidance. By booking a VR session, you acknowledge and accept the privacy policy of Gfactor Technologies Limited (CoDrivr), available here.

Payments

All payments are subject to the HOW² Te Ako Charitable Trust Payments & Refunds Policy. Stripe processes payments on behalf of HOW² Te Ako Charitable Trust.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by the HOW² Te Ako Charitable Trust Payments & Refunds Policy.

Liability

HOW² Te Ako Charitable Trust takes reasonable steps to ensure the safety of all participants. HOW² Te Ako Charitable Trust is not liable for:

Service Limitations

HOW² Te Ako Charitable Trust is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by severe weather, road closures, equipment failure, illness or emergencies, or technology issues affecting VR sessions.

Dispute Resolution

Concerns or disputes should be raised directly with HOW² Te Ako Charitable Trust. HOW² Te Ako Charitable Trust will work with the learner to resolve issues in good faith.
